About GIDE Africa

GIDE Africa, the Africa chapter of the Global Initiative for Digital Empowerment (GIDE), gathers regional experts to advance human-centred digital governance in the region. The founding members include Anne Rachen-Inne, former Director for Africa at the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and Dr. Paul Twomey, co-chairman at GIDE.

GIDE AFRICA is committed to developing digital policies that foster multi-stakeholder collaboration. Leveraging our regional insights and GIDE’s global experience, the chapter aims to drive human-centred digital transformation across Africa.

GIDE AFRICA is set to become a registered non-profit in Port louis, Mauritius.
